32' Bayliner Conquest Sunbridge with 40' Boathouse - 1979 - $34,900The second thing you will notice is how incredibly wide the Conquest is -- with a 12 foot beam it is the widest 32 footer ever built by Bayliner. You can easily set up three or four deck chairs or two recliners in the cockpit. And up on the sunbridge there is seating for five if you include the captain's chair at the helm. As long as you understand nobody sits there but the captain. Unless his wife tells him to go get a drink. Then he'll probably lose his chair. But it is better to lose your chair than refuse to get a drink for you know who. But I digress.
Even with the huge sunbridge, there is still an incredible amount of accommodation space on this boat. Step down below from the sunbridge and looking forward you can see the dinette in front of you on the port side, the galley over on the starboard side and the guest cabin up forward. Aft of the galley on the starboard side is a very spacious head complete with large shower stall. And at the rear of the accommodation space is the private aft cabin. The current owners have set the aft cabin up as the master cabin even though it was originally designed as the guest cabin.
This vessel is well equipped with things like demand hot water and a propane heater to keep everybody comfortable while out cruising, especially if you are boating in the spring and fall months. It has been very well maintained by current and previous owners. The port engine was rebuilt in 2007 and has just over 50 hours of running time on it. The starboard engine was rebuilt in 1999 and doesn't even have 200 hours on the clock. The port leg was replaced in 2004 and the starboard one was rebuilt that same year. Both legs got new gimbal bearings, bellows and pump impellors in 2009 as part of the owner's preventative maintenance plan. So this boat is not only in top shape visually, it is also in top shape mechanically.
The owner would prefer to sell the boat and boathouse as a package because it would be better for the boat over the long term. However, if you really like the boat but it would not be feasible for you to keep it at Goldstream, the owner would consider selling the boat separately.
